Solo traveler looking for comfort
The breakfast was really top-notch, cooked to order like a masterpiece, and the staff were friendly and always willing to help. I also loved the strong shower with the perfect temperature, it felt like a luxury after a long day.
Not exactly cheap,, but for what you get it was acceptable.

Location right near the main road makes it easy to spot and offers convenient access to the motorway. The cozy vibe of the bar area creates a welcoming atmosphere that many guests seem to enjoy.
The noise from traffic can be quite disruptive, especially for light sleepers, making sleep challenging if the windows are open on hot nights. Shared bathrooms may feel basic, and the breakfast options leave much to be desired, with only limited choices like toast and cereals, which can be disappointing for those expecting something more substantial.

I had a recent stay at The Pheasant Inn and found the experience quite enjoyable. The staff really stood out. they were friendly and made me feel welcome right from check-in. I stayed in a Twin Room with Shower, which was simple but exactly what I needed for my short visit. The room felt clean and had all the essentials, including tea, coffee, and biscuits, which added a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well despite some minor traffic noise from the main road outside. Breakfast was included and was delicious, with both continental and cooked options available. I did notice some areas for improvement. The shared bathroom arrangement might not suit everyone, as you may need to wait if another guest is using it. The bathroom itself was functional but could benefit from some upgrades. The hallway had a slight smell of cigarette smoke, which was a bit off-putting but not overwhelming. For the price I paid, it was a solid choice for my needs, and I would consider returning in the future.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast provided was delicious with plenty of options. While there was some minor noise from the pub, it didn't overshadow the overall experience. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy and friendly environment while they explore the local attractions.
